SDC IS ON HIATUS

Dear friends, family, and supporters of SDC:

These past couple of years have brought change and challenge for all of us. The core of Sunday Dinner Club has always been the communal table: bringing people together to laugh, to drink, to eat, to connect, and to nourish. This pandemic has forced many pivots as we sought to find new ways to pursue our mission. Long story short, we are drained.

While we continue to love and cherish Sunday Dinner Club, we have decided that what is best for the moment is to pause operations at the end of this year. For how long, and to what end, we do not yet know.

Sunday Dinner Club began one night in September of 2005 as a dinner party in a home, focused on the food of our farmers, prepared and served among friends and family. Sixteen years later, we’ve been fortunate to create, prepare, and serve thousands of dinners using the best ingredients we could find. We have lived our dreams, cooking with love for those we love.

From the bottom of our hearts, we are grateful. The years of love, support, and joy that you have provided to us, to our employees at all of our businesses, and to our network of farmers and artisans is overwhelming.

As we take our time for a break with Sunday Dinner Club, we are shifting our focus to open TriBecca’s Sandwich Shop, continuing the spirit and dream of SDC. The TBS Brick and Mortar space will be opening soon, just a couple blocks from Honey Butter Fried Chicken, featuring Becca’s signature sandwiches and Cam’s Tuber’s Donuts. We can’t wait to see you when we open our doors.

We have deeply loved cooking for you all. We appreciate you so much, and we thank you for having dinner with us. All this said, we will keep you updated on our return with any offerings we might pop up with along the way (ahem, PIZZA!) AND we are planning on keeping the SDC Wine Club going, so stay tuned for cool upgrades, add ons, and events to come.

With all our love,

Christine, Josh, Alex, and all the team at SDC
